National Cookie Dough Day(S)
Thursday & Friday, June 21-22
During normal taproom hours
At 515, we like to celebrate obscure holidays. And what better than National Cookie Dough Day. We've teamed up with Scratch Cupcakery (who now sells cookie dough at their location in West Des Moines) for this doughlicious tasting event. We'll have chocolate chip and just dough (plain) available for sale to try with our suggested beer pairings. And because we love cookie dough so much, we are extending National Cookie Dough Day to two days!
(Limited supply available each day.)

Restaurant/Bar/Brewing Industry Night
Every Monday, 3 – 9 p.m.
Do you work in a restaurant, bar or brewery? We want to thank you for all that you do...because we've been there, done that and still doing it. Just prove to us you work in the industry and we'll give you 1/2 off beer every Monday.
4:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Each Thursday we'll be featuring one of our beers infused with new flavors (check our Facebook event page for this week's inbrewsion). We're using a device called the Randall. It allows beer to flow through a chamber filled with things such as spices, hops, etc. It will add a new twist to beers we already have on tap and may inspire brand new brews. Join us for some tasty experimentation. (We are still working out the kinks on the Randall. Pours may take longer. Please be patient with our beertenders. Thanks!)
Speakeasy Happy Hour
Fridays and Saturdays
8:00 - 10:00 P.m.
Receive 1/2 off your first beer each Friday or Saturday between 8 - 10 p.m. when you tell our beertender the secret word. The secret word changes each week so check the Speakeasy Happy Hour Facebook event page or 515's Twitter feed for the word.
Second Monday of Every Month
6:00 - 6:30 Check-in (teams of 4 or smaller)
6:30 Trivia begins
Grab some friends and join us for a free trivia night at 515. Hosted by our very own taproom staff, it is sure to be a fun time with interesting questions and categories. Prizes will be awarded. (Get there early to make sure you have a seat. No reservations available.)
Some months we add a charity twist. As the day gets closer, be sure to check out the left side of this page for information on which charity we are supporting and how you can help.
STITCH 'N B-TCH
Second Wednesday of Every Month, 6 – 9 p.m.
A "Stitch 'n B-tch" is a group of knitters and crocheters who get together on a regular basis to stitch and, well, you know. All Stitch 'n B-tch gatherings are open to the public and free of charge. Come and go as you are able. $1 off each beer for all participants. Friend to 515 and yarn-lover, Savannah, is the host of Stitch 'n B-tch.
Hemingway Happy Hour
Third Wednesday of Every Month, 6-9 p.m. (Feel free to come and go.)
Being a creative person can sometimes be a lonely endeavor, but it doesn't have to be. Join Hemingway Happy Hour (HHH), a gathering of writers and artists who brainstorm, drink and create together. Bring your computer or paper and pencil and get a start on your next great novel or drawing. You don't need to be a published writer or an accomplished artist to attend. All skill levels and genres are welcome. $1 off each beer for all participants. HHH is led by 515's resident novelist, Micah Chaplin, and artist, Carter Allen. (Formerly known and Drink and Draw.)
Star Trek Meetup
Fourth Wednesday of Every Month, 6 – 9 p.m.
We have a fun group for all you Trekkies. Former beertender and huge Star Trek fan, Monica, is hosting this group. It's an open discussion on all things Star Trek. And if the mood strikes, don your best Star Trek T-shirt/costume/Spock ears. $1 off all beer for those attending.
D & D DaY
Fourth Sunday of the Month
12 p.m. – 7 p.m.

For experienced players, bring your campaigns (all role-playing games are welcome), your dice and your friends to 515. For newbies, Mayhem Comics & Games is loaning us one of their employees to help teach people Dungeons & Dragons. They will have all the stuff. You just have to come and learn.
