Crimes Against Reinheitsgebot is a special Pastry Dunkel that we brewed for this year's Christkindlmarket Des Moines!

What makes it a crime against Reinheitsgebot? The Reinheitsgebot aka the German Purity Law is a series of regulations over 500 years old that limits the ingredients used to brew beer in Germany (water, barley, hops, and yeast). Our crime? We took a traditional Munich Dunkel and rested it on over 40 lbs of German Christstollen, candied orange and lemon peels, raisins, and vanilla. The result is something that has truly "stollen" our hearts <3

This year's Christkindlmarket shoppers were able to pre-order online and get exclusive first access to this beer, but we'll still have some left for those who haven’t tried it yet and for those shoppers who liked it and want more!

So starting Thursday, Dec. 10th it will available on tap and in crowlers/growlers to-go.
